204Cu grade stainless steel is in the class of austenitic steels. However, in chemical and mechanical values have not yet taken place in American and European production norms .
 

This grade is an alternative of 304 quality as economical . Corrosion resistance is increased with nickel in it and is provided non-magnetic and also was given ability to forge and shape .
 

Corrosion resistance and weldability are much lower than 304 grade . Heat treatment can not be applied.
